Part of our mission is to translate science to action through innovative research, professional development and community partnerships. At Help Me Grow® Florida’s Annual Meeting, April 30-May 1, we were able to share the 3R’s of Early Learning™ with representatives from across the state.

A conference room setting where a speaker is presenting information to a group of people. There is a large projection screen showing slides about "3Rs of Early Learning" - Relationships, Repetition, and Routines. The audience is attentively listening, and the room has various lighting fixtures and decor elements.

Katie White, a research coordinator with the Center, engaged with care coordinators, managers and staff from 43 counties around the state, disseminating information about the science of early child development and learning.

During her presentation, White shared resources from the A to Z’s of Early Childhood to help support children’s development and learning. The A to Z’s are framed by the 3R’s of Early Learning: Relationships, Repetition, Routines™The 3R’s are three important processes that shape children’s health, development, learning, and well-being. The 3R’s of Early Learning focus on how, with whom, when and where children learn, in addition to what they learn.
