Join us for an inspirational evening in celebration of our children and community, featuring an author talk with David Lawrence Jr. about his new book, “A Dedicated Life: Journalism, Justice and a Chance for Every Child.”
David Lawrence Jr. retired in 1999 as publisher of The Miami Herald to work in the area of early childhood development and readiness. He chairs The Children’s Movement of Florida, aimed at making children the state’s top priority for investment and supports the David Lawrence Jr. Endowed Chair in Early Childhood Studies at UF’s College of Education. All author proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Movement of Florida.
