From 11/29 – 11/30 Center members will travel to Pensacola, FL to attend the Academy on Violence and Abuse Global Health Summit, an event focused on understanding the consequences of violence and abuse on global human development.
Center research scientist, Dr. Melissa Bright, will also give two presentations:
- Youth who are cruel to animals: The tip of the trauma history Iceberg
- Not before the weekend: Friday school report card release is associated with increased incidence of agency-verified child physical abuse
