The College of Education’s annual 2024 Scholarship and Awards Dinner once again celebrated students, alumni, faculty and friends who represent the human embodiments of the college’s mission.
Unique to this year’s event, was the presentation of the Dean’s Excellence Award to the Center’s namesake, Anita Zucker.

“She understands that investing in the early years builds the foundation for lifelong success, and her support has empowered the center to become a world leader in research, practice, and policy,” said College of Education Dean Glenn Good. “Anita’s support has been nothing short of transformative, as a driving force behind the Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies, hub for world-class transdisciplinary research, policy, and practice that is shaping the future of early childhood on a national and global scale.”
