Biography
Kim joined the Anita Zucker Center in 2023 as an Education & Training Specialist II. Her work at the Center is focused on Practice-Based Coaching implementation through the Department of Education, Division of Early Learning Anita Zucker Center Practice-Based Coaching Initiative. Kim comes to the Center from the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County as an Early Intervention Specialist. As an Early Intervention Specialist, Kim’s work involved assisting educators and families in using positive behavior support strategies with young children, providing early intervention support for children with developmental delays, and ensuring children received services in the least restrictive environment. While working at the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County, Kim also served as the Lead Implementation Specialist for the Pyramid Model project. In this role, she successfully introduced coaching and data-driven initiatives across various early learning providers, emphasizing evidence-based social/emotional practices. With more than 20 years of experience supporting young children and their families across multiple sectors – including early intervention, foster care, and adoption – Kim is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for young children and their caregivers.
