Biography
Whitney Dotson joined the Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies in 2024 as Assistant Director of Administrative Services. She previously held administrative roles at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. As a member of the Center’s leadership team, Whitney oversees Center operations, including pre-award and post-award activities, financial operations, human resources functions, strategic guidance and support for Center directors, and event planning and management.
Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and Technology and a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Policy at the University of Florida College of Education. Her research interests include higher education, leadership and governance, and finance. Whitney is delighted to be part of an innovative team dedicated to supporting young children, families, and the practitioners who support them.
