Ryu Morrison began working with the Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies in October 2025 as a Graduate Student Research Affiliate. He supports the Early Childhood Studies Advanced Technology Lab projects focused on developing AI-Enabled Personalized Learning Systems, under the guidance of Dr. Darbianne Shannon and Dr. Crystal Bishop. Ryu’s primary responsibilities include preparing and coding Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) session transcripts to train a supervised Large Language Model (LLM) that identifies coach verbal behaviors aligned with key elements of the PBC framework.

He is currently pursuing an Ed.S. in School Psychology at the University of Florida. His academic interests include promoting evidence-based interventions in classrooms and schools.
