The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education is hosting its second annual Evelyn Reed Symposium on Early Childhood Research and Practice. This year’s theme is on supporting young children’s social and emotional development.
Keynote Address by: Dr. Maureen Conroy, Anita Zucker Professor in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Florida
The event, named for former associate professor and Department of Special Education and Disability Policy chair Evelyn Reed, brings together a wide variety of audiences — ranging from researchers across the VCU campus to members of the Richmond-area and special education communities — to discuss topics related to improving outcomes for young children.
