Pallavi began working with the Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies in 2023 as an Undergraduate Student Research Assistant, supporting Tools for Families and the Florida Embedded Practices and Intervention with Caregivers (FL-EPIC) project under the guidance of Dr. Crystal Bishop. Since graduating, she has transitioned to Center staff. Her main responsibilities include data processing, coding, and analysis, helping the team apply research to strengthen early learning and family support practices.

Before joining the Center, Pallavi developed a strong interest in working with children with disabilities through her involvement with Down to Dance, an organization that offers dance workshops for individuals with Down syndrome. This experience drew her to the Center’s focus on translating research into practical approaches that support children, families, and communities in meaningful ways.

Pallavi holds a Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Florida, where she cultivated an interest in community-based care and population health. Aspiring to pursue medical school, she is eager to carry forward what she has learned at the Center into her future clinical practice, particularly the importance of early, family-centered approaches to care. She hopes to combine her background in public health and research with her future role as a physician to support whole-person well-being across a wide range of community settings.
